We’ve Moved: 2104 Langhorne Road

Danny Gnewikow 0 612
Audiology Hearing Aid Associates of Lynchburg has officially relocated to our new home at 2104 Langhorne Road. We initiated the move on Friday, December 6 and worked tirelessly over the next few days to relocate and settle in to our new space. We saw our first patients for hearing aid repairs in the new office on Wednesday, December 11, and we reopened for diagnostic appointments and hearing aid fittings on Thursday, December 12. We look forward to serving our patients at our new, more spacious, location. Please stop by to say hello and see our new space. If you have previously purchased a hearing aid through our office, stop in and tell us you saw this announcement on Facebook or on our website blog, and we will give you a free package of hearing aid batteries!

Lynchburg patients, in case you haven't seen our new sign at 2104 Langhorne Road, you'll be interested to view this photo. The new sign is already in place, and we look forward to moving into our new office location by about mid-December. Our new practice is across the street and only one block up the street (closer to Centra Lynchburg General Hospital).

BEWARE OF THE LOUD SOUNDS OF SUMMER & 4th OF JULY FIREWORKS! Better Hearing Institute Urges

Danny Gnewikow 0 723
Washington, DC, June 27, 2013— As summer vacation gets into full swing, the Better Hearing Institute (BHI) is urging children and adults to protect their hearing, reminding them that noise-induced hearing loss cannot be reversed. Prolonged exposure to the roar of lawn mowers, power tools, motorized recreational vehicles, target shooting, concerts, loud sporting events, and fireworks all can wreak havoc on our hearing. In fact, the single bang of a firecracker at close range can permanently damage hearing in an instant, making it forever more difficult to hear the subtler sounds of summer.
